Naidu reiterates stand on Telangana in assembly

TDP President Chandrababu Naidu said today he has already made his stand clear on Telangana and the ball is in the Centre’s court.

Raising the issue of Telangana during his speech on motion of thanks to the Governor, Naidu said the Centre should take an immediate decision on the Telangana issue and end the uncertainty in the state.

“Your party has been trying to get political mileage by passing the buck to us on the issue of Telangana but you must be aware no one can take on TDP this way,” he told the government. Chandrababu demanded the cancellation of cases filed against students during the agitations in the state.

Chandrababu also found fault with the Minister Dharmana Prasada rao for reportedly putting pressure on the officials to shift the venue of VRO examinations for the sake of his son’s wedding reception.

Dharmana objected to the allegation and asked Naidu not to speak like CPI Narayana without verifying facts. “I booked the hall long back going by the rules and I never pressurized any one to shift the venue of examinations,” he said. (JUBS)
