B – Town Actress Vidya Balan is known for her dignified image both on and off screen. The Actress right from her debut film, ‘Parineetha’, to her last release ‘No One Killed Jassica’, has always concentrated on her roles and performance on screen. Vidya happily went deglamorise in many of her films, as per the requirement of the role, and yet carried this look of her with grace. The Actress, for the first time, is getting ready to shed all her ‘girl next door’ image, and appear in an out and out glamorous role, in her upcoming film, ‘Dirty Picture’, where she is playing the character of Silk Smita, on – screen. Vidya, has changed her body language, undergone through a make over, and working very hard to appear natural self on screen. It seems, the director of the film Milan is going to picturise a intimate lip lock sequence between Vidya and serial kisser Emraan hashmi, who is playing Vidya’s lover on screen. According to the sources, as per the script of the film, it is required to establish the love between the lead pair Vidya – Emraan. Knowing this, even Vidya had agreed to do the scene with out any inhibitions. Vidya will be seen romancing another Hero of the film, Tusshar Kapoor also. The director is taking required care of no one else to be there at a shooting location, apart from the Actors and Camera personnel of the film. B – Town’s Munna Bhai, Sanjay Dutt’s wife, Manyata will be soon turning a film maker, launching her own production house, as per the sources. In the last two years, we have seen many well known Heroes and Heroines turning film makers, and producing their films. maybe this has become a tradition in B – Town, but now even Star Wives are also turning film makers, obviously, their star husbands would be supporting them and playing the lead roles in the films, of their wives. The best example to quote would be Amir Khan – Kiran Rao. Not to forget, Amir supporting his wife kiran in making her debut as a Director, by acting as well as producing her film, ‘Dhobi Ghat’. Looks like Sanjay Dutt would also support his wife Manyata in making her debut as a producer. The buzz is that, Manyata is keen in making a comic jorner film Starring her Hubby Sanjay Dutt and also Akshay Khanna. The film will soon go on location. On other hand, when contacted, the officials of Sanjay Dutt’s production house rubbished all the news of Manyata turning a film maker to be a baseless rumor.

Director Milan Luthira’s upcoming film, focusing on the real life story of South Indian Actress Silk Smtha, who attempted Suicide, features Vidya Balan, who is enacting the Character of Silk Smita, on screen. Vidya had to put on a lot of weight, wear some steamy clothes, smoke and booze, according to the script demanded as per the film. It seems, in a recent shooting of the film, the director asked Vidya to smoke, for a sequence. Vidya, who is never used to smoking before, took up this as a challenge and smoked some 2 cigarettes. Director was not satisfied with the outcome of the shot and asked Vidya for a retake. Vidya had to take a break of some 15 minutes, in order to get rid of the cough, that she got because of smoking the cigarettes. With great difficulty, Vidya some how managed to smoke with ease, and the director okeyed the shot. Seems like, Vidya is putting all her efforts in order to give her best in ‘Dirty Picture’.
