Salman Khan has shown that he is indeed the current box office king of Bollywood as his latest offering Dabangg2 has managed to earn a whopping 21.10 Crore on it’s opening day. Noted film critic and Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adharsh posted on micro blogging site Twitter that “#Dabangg2 *actuals* Fri 21.10 cr nett."
However he further said that film’s first day's business is not likely to cross Ek Tha Tiger's opening day collection, "#Dabangg2 1st day will be lower than #EkThaTiger 1st day [15 Aug holiday]. ETT Day 2 was much lower [14.55 cr], since it was a working day." He tweeted.
Lately Salman Khan’s movies are enjoying phenomenal success and set the trend of reaching Rs 100 Cr as the new benchmark for evaluating the box office performance of all other major Bollywood movies.
