Azhar Analysis

Azhar Movie Review and Ratings

Azhar’s first half has been completely interesting as it narrates some crucial points that happened in the real life of Mohammad Azharuddin. The entire narration is gripping enough and realistic, making one sticking to the seats throughout. Emraan’s performance, along with the meaningful entertainment, makes first half, an outstanding output.

Not obstructing the flow, even the second half has that required pace in it. Narrating the love story, along with the struggle of a cricketer, two emotions were well balanced and narrated in the film. The screenplay is the major highlight and especially the climax of Azhar, takes the film to the next level. On the flipside, some of the scenes have been completely irrelevant and many characters have not been well justified. But it is still a worth watching film.

Performance

Emraan Hashmi as Azhar, nailed the role of the legendary cricketer, carrying the perfect emotions. Even Prachi Desai excelled in her role, adding some glamor to the screen. Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Gautam Gulati and Lara Dutta have been outstanding with their assignments.

The screenplay and the dialogues are the major highlights of the film. The music and the background score need a special mention and they have been completely apt. The production values are grand, making every frame appear rich on the screen. The cinematography made the film elevated enough. Tony D’Souza comes out with a gripping narration and his skills will be widely discussed, while coming out of the theatre.

Azhar Final Word

Well narrated real story, with gripping screenplay in the emotional episodes, makes Azhar a must watch.
