Prem Ratan Dhan Payo Story

Vijay Singh (Salman Khan) is the King of Pritampur, who has a huge dynasty. His brother Ajay Singh (Neil Nithin Mukesh) tries to kill him. Vijay will be survived by injuries four days before the oath taking ceremony and at that time, Deewan (Anupham Kher), the close disciple of Vijay Singh finds Prem Diwale (Salman Khan), who appears like the King.

He brings him in the place of king and impresses all the family members, including the princess (Sonam Kapoor). After Prem’s entry, all the relations that have been left will be back. How did Vijay Singh return back into the family and what are the steps taken for it, forms the rest of the story.

Prem Ratan Dhan Payo Analysis

The first half of the movie appears classy, narrating the characters. Though the movie appears predictable, the characters and their performances elevate the film and take to the next level. The songs are pictured grandly under the lavish sets. The visuals are stunning throughout and the narration has been poetic. On the whole the complete first half has been decent, except a few flaws here and there.

The second half of the movie has several dips and even the narration becomes quite slow. The main theme has been diverted and a few of the songs spoil the flow of the film. The last 20 minutes of the film is the highlight of the movie and the emotions have been narrated in the right way. On the whole the second half of the film has been decent and will be liked by the family audience.

Performance

Salman Khan, who has done many family entertainers gave a splendid job again as Vijay Singh and Prem Dilwale. His emotional expressions are the major highlights of the film and he performed the characters with utmost ease. Sonam Kapoor’s acting levels seems improved and that can be felt on the screen. She has done a challenging role in the movie. Anupam Kher and Neil Nithin Mukesh have been impressive with their performances. All the other actors have been decent throughout the movie.

The plot of the film has been quite unique and impressive. But the screenplay and the narration lacks uniqueness. The dialogues have been written well and the cinematography is the major highlight of the movie. The music is apt and the lavish sets represent the passion of the filmmakers. The production values have been extremely grand and Sooraj R Barjatiya has been impressive with Prem Ratan Dhan Payo movie.
