Director Puri Jagannadh is expecting to give a solid hit with his upcoming action entertainer, ‘ISM’ in which Kalyan Ram is the hero. After ISM, Puri has no film on hand except for a couple of films in the pipeline with NTR and Mahesh Babu.
Now, according to latest reports, Puri has decided to pen scripts for the sequels to some of his previous hits like Badri, Idiot, Amma Nanna O Tamil Ammayi and Pokiri etc.
Recently, there were reports already that Puri will direct young hero Naga Shaurya in his next project. No wonder that it will surely set a positive trend in Tollywood if Puri joins forces with the young guns of Tollywood.
Puri won't approach any star heroes for these sequels. He will cast young and rising stars in the present generation. It is still unclear whether Puri will limit himself to scripting or if he will also be wielding the megaphone for these projects.
