Sardaar Gabbar Singh vs Baahubali: Not fair!

Is it fair to expect Sardaar Gabbar Singh to cross Baahubali records?

With every big hero film’s positive talk, the immediate word one here is ‘record’.

People say that, particular movie positive talk would break all the previous records. Generally, the tough competition like this, an year ago, was between Pawan Kalyan and Mahesh Babu. With every new film of the two heroes, the number game comes into existence.

But as the time passed, the things started changing because of a film called ‘Baahubali’. No huge stars in it, but as the subject itself is a universal one and that made the film cross several unexpected boundaries.

Baahubali clearly declared that, no other Telugu film in the near future would reach its records, unless the subject is universal.

At this point of time, expecting Sardaar Gabbar Singh to cross Baahubali records is not fair. The reason because, Sardaar is purely a heroism oriented film. So, naturally, in the Telugu states it may work out well and gain good collections, if the movie is good.

But why should other country audience, watch a heroism film, that too, where Pawan Kalyan is treated as a new comer by non-telugu people.

So, the fair thing is, Sardaar Gabbar Singh should be compared with Srimanthudu, which is next to Baahubali in Telugu films, in terms of the collections. So, if Sardaar crosses Srimanthudu collections, that is a fair achievement.
