There are very less cases in the past, where Pawan Kalyan thought of two films at a time. Nobody will generally know, about his next projects, while he is on the shoot, for a particular film.

The same thing took place till yesterday, while Pawan Kalyan is shooting for Sardaar Gabbar Singh. But, the sources say that, Power Star accepted to do a movie with Kushi fame, SJ Surya.

Though in the beginning, it was thought that, the duo are planning for a sequel of their earlier blockbuster, Kushi, the reports now state that, it is a fresh subject and already director Surya, has started the pre production works of the movie.

Sardaar Gabbar Singh shooting would be wrapped up by March and after that, Pawan Kalyan was supposed to do a movie for Dasari Narayana Rao. But that project was reportedly shelved as of now and so Pawan would take part in Surya movie itself.

After a huge success of Gabbar Singh in 2012, Pawan Kalyan did not take a chance, opting Tamil directors again and continued to make films with the Telugu directors. His decision favored him well, giving back to back successes in the form of Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu, Attharintiki Daredi, Gopala Gopala.

Currently, Sardaar Gabbar Singh director is Bobby, who is again a Telugu director and the trade circles state that, the movie would again be a blockbuster. At this point of time, opting a Tamil director Surya again, for his next project, is being considered as risky.

Moreover, the combination already had a disaster like Komaram Puli. So it should be seen, whether Pawan still movies forward or steps back.
