National Award winning actress, one of the very few heroines in South film Industry, who is bold enough to experiment with her look and roles and known for her acting skills, Priyamani's career is taking a back seat these days.
Post her role in 'Ragada' starring Nagarjuna and Anushka that was recognized to a major extent, and a dual role in another heroine oriented flick, 'Kshetram', that bombed at the Box office, Priyamani almost not seen in T – Town.
In a recent interaction with Media, Priyamani claims that she has couple of K – Town films to do and looking forward to make her career in B – Town as well.
On the other hand, we get to hear news about the fourth coming tri lingual film of the actress… Priyamani would be seen in another power packed role in the film titled 'Charulatha', the story of this is inspired by a Thai movie Alone that focuses a life of a play back singer.
'Charulatha' will have Mollywood actor Skandha as protagonist. Seetha, Saranya Ponvannan and 'Vettaikaran' Sai Sasi are doing crucial roles. The film will be directed by Pon Kumaran, a former associate to K Bhagyaraj and KS Ravikumar. The Kannada version will be by Dwarakeesh. Ramesh Krishnamoorthy will take care of the Tamil version on behalf of Global One Studios.
The chances of Allu Arvind producing this film in Telugu are very high as per some close sources from the Industry.
