2024 First Half: Top Stars Missing:- 2024 is a surprising year for Telugu cinema. Except Tillu Square and Family Star, there are no notable films releasing during the summer season this year. Top actors like Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh, Balakrishna, Nagarjuna, NTR, Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, Prabhas and others are busy with their respective films and they will not have a release during the first half of this year. NTR's Devara was announced for summer release but it is pushed to October. Other veteran actors like Pawan Kalyan and Ravi Teja too will not have any releases during the first half of 2024. Young actors like Nani, Naga Chaitanya, Nithiin, Sai Dharam Tej, Vaishnav Tej, Adivi Sesh, Akhil, Bellamkonda Sreenivas, Naveen Polishetty and others too will not have any releases in the first half of 2024.

Sharwanand and Vishwak Sen are expected to test their luck in summer with their respective films and the announcements are due. Gopichand and Allari Naresh are testing their luck in March and their next films will release in the second half of 2024. Actors like Mahesh Babu and Akhil will not have a release this year as they are yet to commence the shoot of their respective films. Chiranjeevi's Vishwambara and Venkatesh's next film too will release during Sankranthi 2025 and the actors will not have any new releases this year. 2024 first half is expected to be a dull season with several small and medium budget films.
