First Look: Naga Chaitanya's Thandel:- Akkineni Naga Chaitanya is celebrating his birthday tomorrow and marking the occasion, the first look poster of his upcoming film is unveiled. The rustic action drama directed by Chandoo Mondeti is titled Thandel and the shoot commences very soon. Chaitanya sports a new mass look with thick hair and beard along with a chiseled muscular body. He has worked for months on his transformation to fit in the role of a fisherman in Thandel. The film is set in a coastal village of Srikakulam district and is inspired by real life incidents.

Thandel is said to be the costliest film in the career of Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi plays his love interest. GA2 Pictures are bankrolling this big-budget attempt and Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the music. After some extensive pre-production work, the shoot starts next month. Chaitanya allocated bulk dates for the project and he will not take up any film till be completes Thandel. His first web-based project Dhootha is slated for streaming on December 1st.
