Samantha Signs her first Horror Film:- Samantha Akkineni is the highest-paid Telugu actress. After the super success of Oh Baby, there are strong speculations that she would work with Nandini Reddy again very soon. Samantha featured in Sharwanand's Jaanu and the film ended up as a dud. Samantha is on a break and she was in talks with young and critically acclaimed director Ashwin Saravanan for a movie. Things are final stages of pre-production and the project was planned to start rolling after Dasara. Sony Pictures India are on board as the producers.

But in a sudden move, Ashwin walked out of the film. Samantha is said to have brought Nandini Reddy on to the board for this horror thriller. Nandini signed the project and the shoot starts next month. Samantha will be seen in her first horror drama in her career. The film will be shot simultaneously in Telugu, Hindi and Tamil languages. This untitled film is planned on a budget of Rs 25 crores. Sony Pictures India will produce and distribute the film all over.
