Shahid Kapoor Gets his Father on Board for Jersey:- After the super success of Kabir Singh, Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor signed one more remake. He will be playing a cricketer in the remake of Jersey. The regular shoot of the film was planned to start this week in Chandigarh but it got delayed. Shahid Kapoor's father Pankaj Kapur has been roped in to play his mentor in the film. This is the first time, the duo is teaming up for a film.

Gautam Tinnanuri who directed the original will direct the project and Mrunal Thakur is the leading lady. The shoot of the film will happen without breaks in Chandigarh till December. Allu Aravind, Aman Gill, Dil Raju are the producers. The film will release on August 28th, 2020. After Jersey featuring Nani ended up as a huge hit in Telugu, several top Bollywood filmmakers were in race to remake the film in Hindi.
