Tollywood Director Plans For “Show” Sequel

Tollywood industry’s highly talented director, Neelakanta is getting ready to have the sequel, of the 2002 film, “Show”.

The Telugu film won two National awards and high critical acclaim, and its almost 15 years, the film released. The director, is most likely to have a follow-up titled “Second Show” soon. After the film “Show” got released, several accolades were won by the filmmaker, his next movie “Missamma” with Bhumika Chawla, also received four Nandi awards.

But, things did not turn up accordingly for the director, as he struggled to score a hit, after the two movies, and his last movies, “Chammak Challo” and “Maaya”, totally bombed at the box-office. Neelakanta, however, with unaverred faith, is back and more than willing to prove his mettle as an able filmmaker. The director is hoping to see himself back on track with this sequel.

The original movie, “Show” featuring Veteran actor, Krishna’s daughter, Manjula Ghattamaneni in the lead has enthralled audiences and critics to the extreme level. It has managed to grab two prestigious National awards in that year - National Film Award for Best feature film in Telugu and National Film Award for Best Screenplay. The movie was also premiered in the Indian Panorama Section at the International Film Festival of India.

Lets us wait and see how this sequel will help the director to get back on track !!
