The Director Of India’s Most Awaited War Oriented Film “Baahubali 2” SS Rajamouli, made an earnest appeal to Kannadigas.
The appeal was made amid the unending protests and call for a statewide bandh by the members of Karnataka Rakshana Vedike to prevent Baahubali : The Conclusion from releasing in Karnataka. The Kannadigas insisted that Rajamouli to persuade actor Sathyaraj to offer an apology to the Kannadigas.
Sathyaraj's insulting remarks, which were made against Kannadigas nine years ago, have landed the release of Baahubali 2 in trouble in Karnataka. Some groups have threatened to block its screening in the state. Speaking in Kannada, in the video, Rajamouli requested the protestors not to put at risk the film’s release due to the comments made by actor Satyaraj against several Kannada leaders in connection with the Cauvery River issue 9 years ago.
SS Rajamouli further said that Sathyaraj is just an actor in Baahubali 2 and his comments have nothing to do with the film. The director requested the people of the state not to drag the movie into the issue. Baahubali: The Beginning was a big hit in the state. “I request to show the same love and affection towards the second part of the film,” he added.
