KTR provides financial assistance to Nagayya

Nagayya, who acted in Allu Arjun’s Vedam, was identified by the Telangana minister KTR and gave him one lakh rupees as the financial assistance and also arranged old age artist pension through the government.  

It was known that, Vedam fame Nagayya, is in financial crisis and he was spotted begging in the Film Nagar, the reports stated.

Regarding this, the public opined that, the government or the Movie Artists Association should take care of the issue.

How did KTR come to know about Nagayya?  

In a chat session through twitter, KTR has come to know about Nagayya through a few of the film lovers. The minister then asked them to provide his contact details and reacted to the issue immediately.

Tweeting on the issue, KTR said, "Met 'Siricilla Ramulu' aka Nagaiah Garu today. Handed over a Rs.1 lakh as assistance from my side. Also arranged for old age artist pension through Government. Spoke to Rajendra Prasad, president of MAA to assist him. Nagaiah incidentally is native of Guntur.”

Responding on the issue, actor cum producer Lakshmi Manchu said, "Hats off ram. I am so happy with all the work you are doing. Been following your work religiously. This gesture took my breath away."

Not only Lakshmi, KTR even needs a universal applause for this instant reaction. Isn’t it?
