Change of the Title of Ram Leela Made No Difference!

The craze created for the film did not diminish with its changed title.  The audience is still calling it Ram Leela but not with the changed long title "Goliyon Ki Rasaleela Ram Leela".

As the usage of the word ‘Ram-Leela’ pertains to the plays of episodes from Ramayana by enacting the characters of the great epic story, some NGOs protested using it for the title for the film that has nothing to do with Ramayana or the character of Ram.

After due consideration the maker of the film Sanjay Leela bhansali changed the title but evidently for the sake of changing!

As the comments were that violence and sex prevail in the movie unlike the Godliness of Ram, in acceptance to those comments, the title is added a prefix of ‘Goliyon Ki and Rasaleela’.  ‘Goliyon Ki’ represents violence and ‘Rasaleela’ represents sex.  That way Sanjay Leela Bansali not only changed the title of the movie but also accepted the objections of the protesters.  A tussle takes place when something is not accepted by one of the parties. If the proposal is accepted the altercations cease to exist between them.  And all the way he must be knowing well that people will only call it with its original name ‘Ram Leela.

Ram is the name of the hero Ranveer Singh in the movie and Leela of the heroine Deepika Padukone.

Now, as far as the movie is concerned the highest appreciation is received from all corners.  The story is woven by Sanjay with the inspiration from the Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet in the backdrop of Gujarat.  The movie is handled in a superb way to captivate the audience all through the film.

Usually when hype is created for a movie, imaginations go high and sometimes the movie will not reach the expectation.  But in this movie, which every one prefers to call as ‘Ram Leela’ still, the quality and overall presentation surpasses the expectations of all.

Congratualations Sanjay Leela Bhansali!
