Director V.R. Pratap, died today, in his home town, Tenali. Pratap debuted as a director with Nagarjuna starrer ‘Nuvvu Vostavani’ that managed to bag a decent success, couple of years back. Later, the Director has made a film, ‘Ninnu Choodalani’, introducing Jr.N.T.R as a Hero. The last film of the Director was, RajaShekar starrer ‘Gorintaaku’, in which the brother - sister sentiment between RajaShekar and Meera Jasmine, worked out well, ant the film turned out to be a decent success.

Pratap was suffering from Cancer, from couple of months. He was undergoing the treatment. But, since his situation became very serious, Pratap is no more. The year 2011, has been very negative in terms of the Industry. Many legends such as Sujatha, Nutan Prasad, Rami Reddy, and now, Director Pratap, have died this year.
