Family  hero Jagapathi Babu is celebrating his 48th Birthday. He is the son of veteran director and producer V.B. Rajendra Prasad. Synonymously, the popular hero’s new movie “Siddham” is being released today. The movie is directed by actor-turned-director JD Chakravarthi.

The famous actor has earned the prestigious Nandi Best Actor Award four times for his excellent performance in the movies “Gayam”, “Manoharam”, “Subha Lagnam”, “Samudram”.  Besides, he won the Nandi Awards on numerous occasions involving Anthahpuram, Lakshyam.

Though weighed down by age bit, Jagapathi Babu is still credited with film offers constantly.  To name a few, Pravarakyudu is one such movie which has added to his star image.

The hero’s next film assignment is “Sadhyam”.

Jagapathi Babu has teamed up with great directors like Ramgopal Varma, Krishna Varma, Krishna Vamshi, Guna Sekhar, Manirathnam. He has got appreciation from the likes of Rajinikanth and Shah Rukh in the past.

In his recent interview to a Telugu magazine, Jagapathi expressed his desire to complete 100 movies in the tollywood, a feat which is achieved by his contemporary Srikkanth.  Appearing in a negative role is his long wish.
