Samsung cuts Galaxy Tab 2 prices

Over the past few months, Samsung has been keen on cutting down the prices of phones in every segment. Now, the joining the list would be its tablets. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2, the affordable series of tablets from Samsung have become more affordable with their prices slashed significantly.

While the newer version of Tab 2, Galaxy Tab 2 P3110, has been downpriced at Rs 12,750 versus the introductory MRP of Rs 13,900. Interestingly, the Tab was introduced in India only a month ago. Not just the price tag but the advantage of a Bluetooth headset makes the offer attractive. For a few grand more, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 P3100, with the calling facility and 3G, is available at Rs 16,499 after a Rs 2999/- price cut.

Both the phones share the same engines beneath the screen 7inch PLS screen, 1024x600p resolution, 170ppi, Android 4.0 out of the box and is upgradeable to JellyBean, a dual core processor 1GHz, 1GB RAM, 16GB memory and 32 GB expandable card slot.

3.15MP rear camera, 0.3MP front cam, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0 and microUSB 2.0 for connectivy make it a worthy device with the ample 4,000mAh battery. The newer version is WiFi only but the earlier version supports 2G, 3G and calling features.
