Angry Birds soon for Star Wars fans

Rovio, the maker of the most loved game on the mobile platform across several operating systems like iOS and Android, Angry Birds, has mentioned that it recently shook hands with Lucasfilms to develop their latest version of the upcoming Angry Birds for the Star Wars fans. This game would be based on the characters and the story of the mega hit series Star Wars. The trailer to this iteration of the game was launched on YouTube already on Rovio's channel. The game is now all set to be released on November 8, 2012.

It is said that the game would be set on the fictional planets Hoth and Tatooine of Star Wars among others. Birds will resemble the top characters from the Space saga featuring Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Obi Wan Kenobi, Han Solo and Chewbacca. The pigs on the other had would bear the dark veneer of Stormtroopers while the King Pig would be the ultimate boss, Darth Vader.

In earlier iterations of the game, Rovio joined hands with Twentieth Century Fox for Angry Birds Rio and then with NASA for Angry Birds Space.

Recent launches of two other games from the maker have been well received and are chart-toppers. Amazing Alex and Bad Pigges are definitely worth a few games on you tabs and phones until the war between pigs and birds is taken to the “galactic” proportions.
