Chidambaram calls Modi an 'Encounter Minister'

Finance Minister P Chidambaram took a dig at BJP's Narendra Modi by calling him an 'Encounter Chief Minister'. Hitting back at Modi for calling him 'recounting minister' Chidambaram made these statements and accused Modi of many fake encounters in Gujarat under his regime.

In the 2009 general elections Chidamabaram won by a margin of 3,500 votes from Sivaganga constituency and a controversy raked up later as the opposition parties have expressed their doubts in counting process.

Modi who has been campaigning in Tamil Nadu referred Chidambaram as 'recounting minister' quite often and seems like this irked the Finance minister more.
