TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu seemed to have got convinced that he would not be able to appeal in Coastal Andhra region. And in order to win the hearts of people in Telangana region, where the party is almost uprooted, according to sources, Chandrababu Naidu is all set to pen down a letter to the Centre on TDP's stand over Telangana issue. He reportedly said in an internal meet in Hyderabad on Saturday night that a letter in favour of Telangana statehood would be given by him to the Centre.

The sources said Chandrababu told he gave clarity on BC issue, SC issue and now he wanted to give clarity on Telangana issue too. If buzz is to be believed Chandrababu Naidu would send across the letter in the first week of September. The political observers said in case Chandrababu give a letter in favour of separate state, that would be a better political move, which would apparently put Congress in a fix. How would Congress react on the proposed letter has become the talk of the town.
