Dengue rampant in AP, another death recorded

A dengue death has been reported in Vishaka agency area this morning. A 32-year-old woman has fallen prey to the dreadful disease. The health experts blamed the government for dengue deaths. Dengue fever, which is also known as break bone fever, is shivering Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka states. While Karnataka has already taken steps to clean Bengaluru city twice a day to put a check to dengue, the situation in Andhra Pradesh especially in capital city Hyderabad is becoming worse. In Hyderabad, people will keep spitting wastes on roads and on top of it rain water is accumulating on the pits, which are formed on the road. While traffic blues are always there due to such pits on roads, these pits on roads are now creating health issues.

A close look at Sangeet talkies cross roads in Secunderabad is enough to tell how negligent the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation is. One side of the cross roads will turn like a pond and except four wheelers, others will often not take that road. If this is the case in Hyderabad, what would be the situation in places like agency areas, question health experts. A few doctors told Andhra Wishesh that's it's because of the negligence of the government, dengue is wide spreading in the state. Recently, another woman died of dengue in Vishakapatnam agency area.

If government keeps on neglecting the cleanliness, then it will only be adding fuel to the fire. Medicines and treatment at a later stage, one has to first take precautions and that's how diseases like dengue can be eradicated, said health experts.  Will government now at least direct the municipal corporations to look into the issue swiftly is a rhetorical question.
