Balakrishna likely to plunge into election campaign

Tollywood actor and son of legendary politician NTR, Nandamuri Balakrishna has said that he would plunge into election campaign in case the party supremo nods for the same. It is known that by-polls to 18 constituencies are round the corner and almost all political leaders are already busy touring places as a part of election campaign and Balakrishna now wants to join Chandrababu Naidu. He has also exuded confidence that TDP would emerge victorious in the by-polls. Balakrishna has also said that he would contest the 2014 general elections and mentioned that he would accept whatever the constituency is allotted to him for contesting.

Balakrishna was, however, reluctant to comment on the statements made by YSR Congress party leader Roja. On the other hand, TDP celebrated May Day at their party office in Hyderabad. They reminded the public as to how TDP took care of the working class. The leaders expressed their grief stating that employees misunderstood Chandrababu Naidu.

Anyway, it’s known that Balakrishna campaigned heavily for TDP in 2009 elections and we have to wait and see whether his campaign for by-polls would have an impact on the public. (Phani)
