Cong MPs warn Renuka Chowdhary

The eight suspended Congress MPs from Telangana region have come down heavily on the leaders from the same region, Renuka Chowdhary and Palvai Govardhan Reddy.  They warned that the duo would remain as ‘traitors of Telangana’ in case they criticize the leaders who are in a fight for Telangana cause. They have also decided to boycott the Lok Sabha proceedings on Monday.

Commenting on the continuation of ESL Narasimhan as the Governor of the state for the consecutive second term, the MPs have said that Narasimhan was appointed to look after state affairs. They said he would note the sentiments of Telangana people and would not go ahead more than that.

It may be recalled that MPs were suspended for four days last week from the Lok Sabha when they created ruckus in the house on Telangana issue. They took on Renuka Chowdhary for not supporting them. Renuka Chowdhary, in turn, came down heavily and questioned whether targeting a woman was Telangana culture.

The political situation in the state is not only confused but hopeless with leaders from the same party and even from the same region are indulging in war of words. (Phani)
