KCR Calls Congress Shameless:- Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao addressed the public gathering as part of the election campaign. He took a strong dig at Congress and called the public to throw Congress into the Bay of Bengal. He threatened that if Congress comes into power, they are going to abolish the Dharani portal. KCR calls the Dharani portal as the peace brought by the BRS government to the village farmers. On Tuesday KCR at the Jangaon public meeting said that the BRS government has given the farmers, the’ right to empower’ and shameless congress is trying to remove it. KCR said, “ Dear farmers your rights are in your hands and save them by yourselves”. KCR is addressed the same issue in Jangaon, Bhongir, Siricilla and Siddipet public meetings. He ensured that the Dharani portal has been the middleman and said that the brokers have been eliminated, who take full power from the farmers. He was clear in making people understand that Congress is going to abolish the Dharani if it comes into power. He says that, with Dharani, even the chief minister cannot interfere with the farmer’s choice. In Siddipet KCR got a huge response for his public meeting. CBN Case: Supreme Court Reserves Verdict:- The quash petition filed by former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s Skill Development scam verdict was adjourned to Tuesday by the Supreme Court bench. CBN has challenged the high court of Andhra Pradesh's orders for refusing his quash petition against the arrest alleged misappropriation of 371 Cr funds in a skill development case. A bench of Justice Aniruddha Bose and Bela M Trivedi has reserved the judgment by refusing the request of senior advocate Harish Salve, who sought interim bail for Mr Naidu considering his age and time (40 days) he has already spent in custody. Supreme court senior advocate Ranjit Kumar appeared on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh state government and opposed the request of Luthra. The bench also cleared to Luthra that the main matter of the case will be continued in the High Court and only the applicability of Section 17A of the Prevention of Corruption Act case in Naidu's arrest is reserved for judgment. Besides this Nara Chandrababu Naidu's wife, Nara Bhuvaneswari has been residing in Rajahmundry for the past 37 days. Police have reportedly stopped the leaders, who wanted to meet her and asked not to come to meet her by saying that there was no permission to meet Bhuvaneswari. SEC Halt $130 M Fraud Fund Targeting Indian American Community:- The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has decided to temporarily restrain Nanban Ventures LLC. Their accounts have been frozen along with accounts and the government has taken more emergency measures to thwart an ongoing fraudulent scheme targeting the Indian American community. Gopala Krishnan (also known as GK), Manivannan Shanmugam and Sakthivel Palani Gounder along with three others are the founders. The company has reportedly collected the sum of $130 M in funds since April 2021. All three founders and three entities are alleged to be involved in the fraud, said the SEC in their press statement. SEC raised a complaint unsealed in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas alleging that the defendants raised $89 M from more than 350 investors. The founders have managed these through capital funds through Nanban Ventures LLC. They also raised $39 M from 10 other investors. There is also an addition to the complaints that the founders have paid $17.8 M to the investors claiming profits, which are actually from Ponzi payments. They also used YouTube for their promotions. Krishanan in his video misrepresented public, claiming that he achieved more than 100 percent returns through venture capital. Besides this, the SEC has requested all the investors to confirm their credentials.
