Unknown persons have bugged the office room of the Defence Minister A.K. Antony and the Defence Secretary Sashikant Sharma had sought a probe by the Intelligence Bureau (IB).
The bugging was found on Feb 16 by two Army technicians who have been managing the telephone lines in the Minister’s room.
It may be recalled that Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee’s office room was bugged by unknown persons last year and an inquiry was ordered. No one knows what happened to the inquiry. (J)
