A French magazine had published the topless pictures of Prince William's wife, Catherine on their holiday to France.

The office St James Palace mentioned that this was completely unacceptable referring to the publication as "grotesque and totally unjustifiable" on Friday.

It mentioned that the couple had been largely saddened after they learned of the publication in the magazine which has breached their “privacy in such a grotesque and totally unjustifiable manner".

Closer Magazine, France had printed the photo of Catherine on the front cover and also in five of the inside pages where she was shown wearing only the lower part of the black and white bikini when she was with William on a holiday in Provence in France.

The reputation of the Royal Family had been tainted recently with the nude pictures of Prince Harry doing the rounds; this publication adds insult to the injury.
