While returning from school a Class VI girl was caught unawares and raped in the Islamapur area, the police reported.
The girl after the ghastly incident returned back to school and fainted in the headmaster's office. She was allegedly raped by a youth.
She complained after regaining from the syncope that she was raped by a youth that she did not recognize.
The girl had been sent to the Katwa hospital for a medical test while a complaint regarding the same has been lost.
The incidents of abuse against minors has been on the rise and it points out to the condition of the country with respect to safety.
