MP Woman forced to carry a Boy on her Shoulders for leaving her Husband:- Despite of modernization and digital world, the attacks on women and on the backward castes continued to exist in India. Three people were arrested after they forced a woman to walk with her boy on her shoulders in Guna district, Madhya Pradesh. A case was filed and three out of the four accused are taken into custody. The incident took place on February 9th and it came to the notice of the cops after a video went viral on the internet. The fourth accused in the case is absconding and the hunt for him is currently going on. Rajeev Mishra, Superintendent of Police, Guna district called the incident barbaric.

The woman issued a statement after which the cops arrested the three accused. The woman said that her husband left her at another man's home and he headed for work. She started living with the other man and this did not go well with her in-laws. The cops are now conducting an awareness drive to prevent such incidents in the villages. The villagers along with her family members forced the woman to walk by carrying her son on her shoulders. Some of the villagers too walked by her side and made fun of her. A man was spotted hitting her from the back with a stick when she slowed down. The woman struggled to walk with a boy on her shoulders.

It is heard that the relatives of the woman were angry that she left her husband for another man and they wished to punish her. The cops took the issue seriously and are conducting counseling for the villagers who participated in the incident.
