ISB joins hands with Pak business school

The proposed programmes would focus on family business, entrepreneurship, business leadership and strategy development.

Hyderabad based prestigious  Indian School of Business on Friday signed  a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Karachi-based Institute of Business Administration (IBA) to launch executive MBA programmes for working professionals in Pakistan.

On this occasion, Deepak Chandra, Deputy Dean, ISB said: “We hope that this partnership will help create tremendous opportunities for cross-collaboration between the two schools and set the tone for many more future associations aimed at nurturing business leaders and entrepreneurs who would contribute to the growth of business and industry in Pakistan.”

He signed the MoU along with Ishrat Husain, Dean and Director, IBA, at the ISB campus.   Husain was equally effusive. “We at the IBA, the oldest business school established in 1987 by Wharton, feel privileged to enter into this partnership with ISB. We will start on a modest scale but will build up our relations over time as each one of the two institutions gets to know the other.” The proposed programmes would focus on family business, entrepreneurship, business leadership and strategy development.
