YS Sharmila announces to quit from Telangana Elections:- Late YS Rajasekhar Reddy's daughter YS Sharmila floated her own party YSRTP in Telangana and she has been campaigning from the past few months. She also undertook padayatra for months and announced that her party will contest in all the 119 Assembly constituencies in the upcoming Telangana elections that are scheduled for November 30th. In a shocking move, YS Sharmila arranged a press conference and announced that YSRTP will not contest in the Assembly polls. She also asked her supporters and followers to vote for Congress in the elections. She said that the party took this decision to dethrone KCR and his party BRS from power in Telangana.

YS Sharmila met Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi recently in New Delhi and discussed about an alliance in the state. But there are no positive signs from Telangana Congress and YS Sharmila announced that YSRTP will contest without any alliance. YS Sharmila also announced that she would contest from Paleru constituency. She promised that she would from Paleru in the future. There are rumors that there is a lot of political pressure on YS Sharmila. She called it a sacrifice and promised to comeback soon.
