Did we win medals for the country to see this day: Vinesh Phogat:- The two-time Olympic medal winner Vinesh Phogat turned emotional yesterday after Delhi police pushed her. The wrestlers were demanding the arrest of WFI president Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, who is alleged for sexual harassment of seven female grapplers including a minor.

Around 11 pm protestors got cots(folding beds) as the area was filled with water as they were preparing for a night stay. The on-duty police personnel allegedly started behaving badly with them and even abused the wrestlers.

Vinesh Phogat in emotional pain said," we win medals for the country to see this day. If you wanna kill us kill us. We are not criminals, we don’t deserve such type of treatment. No women police personnel was present at the sight and the two policemen who misbehaved were under alcohol influence. Police also hit my brother, is this the way a world champion should be treated and the person who harassed us sexually is sleeping peacefully? This is the dignity of our daughters.” The emotional words Vinesh are viral on social media.

Police said they are going to look into the CCTV footage in each and every available view. As CCTV was already installed in the protesting areas.
