Telangana Eyes Rs 1000 Cr Through Building Regularization:- The entire state is known about the tiff between the Telangana government and the Centre. Differences cropped up after the Centre was not ready to purchase the crops of Rabi from the state for MSP. After this, Telangana Chief Minister KCR and the government of Telangana blamed the Centre about the delay in granting the funds for the state. Telangana has to deal with the reductions in FRBM loans from the Centre. This has to be done during the first half of the fiscal year (April to September). Centre had a massive cuts in the Central grants and the Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS). These altered the budget of Telangana for the year 2022-23. KCR asked the Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar and the finance officials to get back the finances of the state back to track.

This is to reduce the burden on the people of the state and bring out the state safe after the fund cuts from the Centre. The government of Telangana is keen to mobilize Rs 1000 crores for the fiscal year through the Building Regularisation scheme if the High Court lifts the stay. More than 1.39 lakh applications have been received by the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation from the building owners and the builders. These applications are to regularize the illegal constructions under BRS. The Telangana government announced the scheme in November 2015. A Public Interest Litigation (PIL) against the BRS was registered and the High Court announced a stay in the decision made by the government of Telangana. The government of Telangana is keen to mint money for the state to meet the expenses.
