Covishield's immune response better than Covaxin:- Covaxin and Covishield are two coronavirus vaccines that are developed by Indian pharmaceutical firms. A study conducted on the healthcare workers said that Covishield produced high immune response than Covaxin. 95 percent of the recipients produced a high immune response who took Covishield. The people who took Covishield could generate antibodies in more individuals when compared to Covaxin. Most of these studies are lab-based in the country. The study was conducted on 515 healthcare workers from 13 states and 22 cities. The study found that the people could generate an immune response in 95 percent of the recipients in 21-36 days after receiving the second dose of the vaccine.

Seropositivity is observed in 98 percent of them with Covishield and 80 percent of them who took Covaxin. The anti-spike antibody titre was significantly higher in Covishield than in Covaxin. Gender, BMI and other comorbidities did not seem to have played a crucial role. Infection after vaccination is spotted in 5 percent of the people but none of them suffered severe issues. Some of the health experts said that both the vaccines for coronavirus are equally good and they have the potential to develop high antibodies even after the first dose of coronavirus vaccination. For all those who are not contracted with coronavirus, Covishield could be a better option.
