Russia Completes Clinical Trials For The World's First Coronavirus Vaccine:- Russia emerged as the first country in the world to complete clinical trials of coronavirus on humans and the results proved the effectiveness of the medicines. Elena Smolyarchuk, the Chief Researcher who heads the Center for Clinical Research on Medications at Sechenov University said that the human trials for the vaccine are completed and they will be discharged soon. Elena Smolyarchuk said that the vaccine is safe and the volunteers will discharge between July 15th and 20th. There is no further information about the vaccine entering into the commercial production stage as per Elena Smolyarchuk.

Russia allowed clinical trails in two forms on June 18th which were developed by Gamaleya National Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology. The first vaccine which is in the form of a solution was carried out at Burdenko Military Hospital. The second vaccine is in the form of a powder that was carried out at Schenov First Moscow State Medical University. 19 volunteers are involved in the first stage of research while the second group had 20 volunteers. All the volunteers have been asked to remain in isolation for 28 days after the trials are completed.

Russia has 7,19,449 coronavirus cases and 11,188 people passed away till date. As per the reports from the World Health Organization (WHO), there are 21 vaccines which are clinical trials across the globe.
