VG Siddartha's Forensic Report Concludes Drowning was The Cause: Coffee Day founder VG Siddartha killed himself a month ago and the investigating officials confirmed that the young entrepreneur took his own life. The 60-year-old's body was recovered on July 29th at the Netravathi bridge in Mangaluru. The probe in his mysterious death was under investigation. The forensic report is now out and it clarified that VG Siddartha died due to drowning. The report said that his body went into a condition called Asphyxia (Deficient supply of oxygen) which subsequently lead to the death of Siddartha.

The rescue officials recovered his body after 18 hours-long search. A substantial amount of water entered into his lungs. The medical examination has also ruled out foul play as suspicious injuries were found on his body at the time of recovery. Mangaluru City Police Commissioner Dr PS Harsha said that the forensic report said that Siddartha committed suicide. VG Siddartha, the son-in-law of former Karnataka Chief Minister SM Krishna was in huge financial stress after which he killed himself. VG Siddhartha’s father Gangaiah Hegde passed away yesterday in Gopala Gowda Shanthaveri Memorial Hospital in Mysuru due to ill health.
