Union Minister Ananth Kumar Passed Away: Indian Union Minister Ananth Kumar who is 59 years old passed away during the early hours of today in Bengaluru. He was undergoing treatment for cancer in Shankara Cancer Hospital, Bengaluru from some time. Ananth Kumar was on ventilator from the past few days and he faced severe complications along with infection. He was diagnosed with cancer before the Karnataka Assembly elections this year. The whole country has been left in shock with the sudden demise of Ananth Kumar.

"Extremely saddened by the passing away of my valued colleague and friend, Shri Ananth Kumar Ji. He was a remarkable leader, who entered public life at a young age and went on to serve society with utmost diligence and compassion. He will always be remembered for his good work" expressed Narendra Modi through his social media page. The moral remains have been kept for vist at Lalbagh Road and will be shifted to National College Grounds. Rest in Peace Ananth Kumar.
