India Still Waits For Sridevi’s Mortal Remains:- Veteran actress Sridevi passed away during the mid night of Saturday which left the nation in shock. She has been to Dubai for a wedding after which she suffered massive heart attack informed the initial reports. However the forensic report conducted by Dubai cops concluded that Sridevi died due to ‘Accidental Drowning’. Though the post-mortem proceedings have been wrapped up, the Dubai cops handed over the case to the Dubai Public Prosecution. Her husband Boney Kapoor along with the hotel staff have been investigated for long.

While the whole country has been waiting to see Sridevi for the last time, there is a huge delay in the mortal remains to be brought back to the country. The legal procedure will take long time and an update is expected soon. Fans gathered in lakhs to Mumbai’s Sridevi residence and celebrities have been visiting Anil Kapoor’s residence to pay tributes. As per the latest update, a clarity on Sridevi’s mortal remains returning back to India is expected by today afternoon. The family members are expected to release an official statement soon.
