2 Soldiers Injured in another Terror Attack by Pakistan in Nagrota

In another terror attack by Pakistan, two soldiers were injured near an army camp in Nagrota, 20 km from Jammu, on the Srinagar-Jammu national highway early morning on Tuesday.

"A gun battle between the terrorists and the army is on", said reports.

The army has prevented access and closed the area. All schools were also to stay asked to close.

"The terrorists attacked the army unit at 5:30 am", said BSF officials.

“In the general area of Border out Post Chamliyal, Samba, the suspicious movement was noticed. The area was cordoned off immediately,” a BSF official said.

"A group of heavily armed militants, believed to be four-to-five in number, attacked the 166 field army regiment camp in Nagrota area of Jammu today (Tuesday) morning," the police said.

"When challenged, BSF patrol was fired upon by miscreants holed up in a tube well pump house", the official said.

Exchange of firing between the Indian army and terrorists is continuing and also underway in Ramgarh in Jammu and Kashmir's Samba sector.

Two-three suicide attackers surrounded the area due to heavy exchange of firing between the militants and security forces.

In a second incident, the Border Security Force caught a group of terrorists attempting to cross over at the International Border at Ramgarh in Jammu and Kashmir's Samba sector.

There have been several attacks by terrorists from across the border over the past few weeks.

Previously in September, 19 soldiers were killed by terrorists from Pakistan who attacked an army base in Uri. A few days later, the Indian army carried out surgical strikes across the Line of Control. From then onwards Pakistan has been attacking India and many deaths of Indian soldiers and terrorists have been reported.
