In a tragic incident five people were injured including a bus driver and four women in a road accident. The incident took place when the family was going to Gajwel to attend Prime Minister Modi’s programme. The RTC bus in which they were travelling collided with another RTC bus at Railapur stage.

Police said “the bus from the city picked up 45 passengers from Narlapur village and was going to Komatibanda village. Another RTC bus with around 50 passengers was coming from Sangareddy to Siddipet. At Railapur stage, the bus proceeding towards Siddipet rammed into the other bus driver Yakubuddin was hurt.”

All the injured have been shifted to nearby hospital. Police suspect that it was sheer negligence of the driver which led to the accident. No one died in the accident.

In another incident, a youth died on spot when he was hit by a milk van in Kushaiguda, near Pocchamma Temple in Hyderabad.

According to the police, Balram (21) along with his friend was travelling to Chakripuram to ECIL when this mishap took place. Balram hailed from Attapur. Near the temple, a speeding Mother Dairy Milk van hit his bike.  Balram died on spot while his friend sustained injures. Both the youths were immediately shifted to nearby hospital. Police have registered a case and the van driver was arrested.
