Amaravathi - Out of coverage area

Amaravathi, the proposed capital of Andhra Pradesh, is lacking the phone signals.

After Amaravathi was announced as the new capital of AP once year back, the real estate market had a good boom. Many hotels and other commercial services are established. Tourists are increased. Even the government officials like the ministers made a visit, every now and then.

Including BSNL, No phone signals in Amaravathi

In spite of this range of popularity to Amaravathi, unfortunately, it is not able to attract any of the Telecom service providers. Many villages are still facing the cell signals problem in Amaravathi. Especially in Thulluru, even the central government phone, BSNL signals are also unavailable.

Amaravathi has already acquired a universal craze, after it was announced as a new capital of Andhra Pradesh. Many people started knowing about Amaravathi and its history. At this point of time, the non availability of phone signals will surely be a red mark on the part of Andhra Pradesh government. So it would be better if the government attracts the service providers with the innovative schemes.

The master plan of Amaravathi seed capital is recently received by the AP government and is moving forward to start the works. Regarding this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be invited to the Amaravathi capital, foundation stone ceremony in October. So the AP government is expected to take initiatives regarding the Amaravathi cell signals problem and solve the issue before the visit of PM.
