Tamilnadu and AP do not have a joint capital- Pratthipati

“There is no authority for Tamilnadu police to enter into the AP state,” Minister Pratthi Paati Pulla Rao clarifies.

Speaking to the media, Pulla Rao said that, “a retired judge questioned me that, whether the Tamilnadu police are allowed to Andhra Pradesh, implying that the AP police have no right to enter into Telangana state.”

Answering to that question, Rao said that, Hyderabad is a joint capital of both the Telugu states. So we have the every right to allocate AP police in Hyderabad too. Coming to Tamilnadu, Andhra Pradesh is not sharing any capital with the former state, so it would be meaningless, if Tamilnadu police enters the AP state. This is a simple logic and it is a pity that a person, who once worked as a judge is unaware of it.  He further stressed on Section 8 and said that it has to be implemented immediately, as it is already delayed from the past one year.

Other officials like Kollu Ravindra, Gaali Muddu Krishnama Naidu, and Mrunalini stressed upon Section 8 and demanded the immediate implementation. They even declared to raise a movement, if the section is not implemented. If section 8 is not possible, Hyderabad should be made a union territory, few others said. They seriously warned the Telangana government not to make section 8 an issue.

The Telangana government declared to raise a movement against section 8 implementation and AP officials too declared the movement if section 8 is not implemented. So the section 8 has now become the key aspect of the Telugu states.
