AP CM Chandrababu Naidu has decided to perform ‘Bhoomi Puja’ on Saturday, against the warnings of the astrologers.
A few days back, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu’s personal astrologer Srinivasa Gargeya had warned him not to perform Bhumi Puja on Saturday, for construction on state capital Amaravati.

According to the astrologer, if ‘Bhoomi Puja’ is performed on Saturday, it would bring serious troubles to the state and also to him, which further leads to huge loss due to several hurdles and unanticipated incidents. Therefore he warned Naidu to wait for another four months, i.e, till ‘Kartheekam’ after Dussehra, to fetch positive results. But Naidu has stated that, he believes in his hard work than the stars and so decided to go ahead with the Puja on Saturday itself.
After performing it, on Monday, Naidu will address a public meeting, in the name of ‘Maha Sankalpam’, reminding the occasion of the completion of one year as Chief Minister of the state.
Not only Gargeya, other astrologers also warned Naidu
The Puja will be performed at 8.49 am on Saturday. However, Gargeya, the astrologer was not consulted to perform Puja. Along with two other ‘Sidanthis’, including Gundu Satyanarayana, have found fault with the June 6 date. “It is a Saturday and also ‘Chavithi’, it is not good to start a major event in the life of the state. It is not good for the landlord, in this case the Chief Minister,” said Jonnalagadda Jaganmohan Rao a prominent astrologer in the Krishna district. But Naidu, still continued to go ahead with the programmes against all those warnings.

Be it Revanth Reddy ‘cash for vote’ scam or disastrous performance in Telangana MLC elections or Peethala Sujatha issue or whatever, TDP party is continuously facing threats in some or the other way. At this time, where a prestigious programme like capital construction, which is supposed to have a page in the AP history, is Naidu taking wrong decision by going against the beliefs?, if at all, there are any hurdles later and that impact is shown on the common people, then Naidu would again be targeted by the oppositions saying, that he started constructing the capital at the cost of the people, which would further be a threat to TDP party and Naidu too.
