MLC election results out

The most awaited MLC election results are finally out on Monday evening. As expected TRS won five seats and the remaining one seat is won by the Congress.

On Monday, a total of 118 candidates utilized their votes out of 120 votes available to cast elect six members of the Legislative Council in the polling held in Assembly premises.

The counting was completed by around 7 pm on Monday and before the official announcement of the results, the TRS party members already started celebrating the victory.

Though TRS is expected to drop four candidates for the four posts, KCR shocked the political critics and the opposition parties by dropping the fifth candidate into the race. Actually, most of the political critics opined that, KCR is over confident by introducing the fifth contestant, but it was now proved that, he is not over confident but just confident.

Kadiyam Srihari, Thummala Nageshwar Rao, K Yadav Reddy, Neeti Vidya Sagar Rao, B Venkateshwarlu are the five candidates who contested from TRS and all of them won in the elections. The other candidate is Akula Lalitha from Congress who was elected.

On the other hand, it seems like the influence of the Revanth Reddy’s arrest is severe among the party members. That might be the result of the TDP be eliminated in MLC elections.
