Indore IITian offered Rs 1.7 Cr pay

IIT students are breaking their package records offered by World's Best IT companies. In a fresh development, Indore IIT student was offered Rs 1.7 crore by internet giant Google. This is the best package at IIT Indore in the last three years. Gaurav Agrawal, a native of Bhilai in Chhattisgarh, a computer science student, received offer letter from Google to join it in US.

Gaurav also participated in World Informatics Olympiad - ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest [ICPC] held in Russia where his team 'Paradigm Shift' beat 15 top IITs and even took the challenge of Stanford University, California. IIT Indore team got the best ranking among all the IITs in the country at 42nd position in the world.

It was his preparations and debate with programming experts helped Gaurav to overcome the interviews held by Google.
