As the Lehar Cyclone weakened to form a deep depression, the speed at 160 km came down to 50 to 70 km per hour. Danger Warning No.3 was given to the ports previously was withdrawn  as the wind speed and rainfall is normal.

But the authorities restricted visitors to beaches and coasts. Fishermen are warned against conducting fishing operations.

The people who have not evacuated are assured that the danger has shifted and no more threat will be there from the cyclone Lehar.

The authorities are asked to keep vigil for 12 hours in spite of the weakened cyclone. They are closely monitoring the situation.  NDRF is still ready to spring in to action in case of necessity.
