PM Prostrated Before Dynasty- Says BJP

pm-prostatingOrdinance Withdrawal is termed as nothing but prostration of the Prime Minister before a dynasty that is ruling the country.

The ordinance protecting convicted leaders was first called nonsense and commented worth tearing it off by Rahul Gandhi that followed high tension in the party.  Sonia Gandhi took up the responsibility of pacifying PM Manmohan Singh.  Then Core Committee meeting, taking of legal advice from Attorney General, preparation of Cabinet Note and talking to allies of UPA- all these things happened with rapid succession and finally the ordinance was withdrawn and the fact is intimated to the President with whom the ordinance was pending for his final approval.

As an explanation for the withdrawal of the ordinance, the party said that because of the suggestions received from other leaders and after Rahul Gandhi’s remarks on it the Government has reconsidered the decision on ordinance and withdrawn.

BJP was planning to use the ordinance as a political weapon in the 2014 war for power.  BJP also made a representation to the President and requested him not approve the ordinance.  The congress party building up a neat and clean image must have thought that the ordinance may damage it and before it is too long and cannot be retraced, the party wanted to do it before anyone else takes a credit of it.

Other parties also found fault with the congress party the way it is done.  The main objection came from many quarters is how Rahul Gandhi can be over the Government to influence and pressurize it to withdraw an ordinance it made and sent to the President for approval?

Many people questioned what would have been the case if any other leader of the party had made the same remarks?  Can any imagine that those remarks would have made hurried dialogues among the leaders and taking such a fast action in one day?  That means it is Rahul’s remarks it made the difference.

That is why BJP commented that the Prime Minsiter and the Cabinet simply prostrated before the dynasty and silently did what is instructed to them.  Many leaders commented that the Prime Minister proved again that he is a Prime Minister without any powers.
