Vijayashanti who ruled the film industry for some time to be called 'Lady Superstar' and is an MP from Medak, celebrated her 49th birthday yesterday in a simple way and talked to the media on the occasion.

For her future plans in the politics as the talk is in the air that Medak constituency will be given to somebody else, she said emotionally that Medak is her breath and Telangana is her life.  She firmly said that she will contest from TRS party and contests only from Medak.  About the rumors, she said that KCR 'anna' has not mentioned it so far.  But, she feels, he should talk and clear the speculations among the public.  

As Vijayashanti calls KCR as her brother, she answered for the question whether she would give Medak if he asks to do so; she shook it off telling that it is not a chocolate to give away when a brother wants it.  She said that she is for Medak.  She also cleared that it is a rumor that she may join BJP or Congress.   

About the settlements of TRS that is in the news, she said that such things should be cleared by the party chief to save the party from the damage.

Vijayashanti apart from firmly announcing her attachment with Medak, also shown her displeasure for the silence observed by KCR in the case of Medak MP Seat and about the settlements of KTR that is in the news damaging the party’s goodwill.
